Education and Training
Ellen Fisher began her career in nursing with a associate’s degree from Marshalltown Community School of Nursing in 1976. She then went back to school in 1998 to get her bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire and her master’s in nursing in 2000.
Experience
Ellen has many of years of experience working in the hospital setting in medical surgical units, orthopedics, intensive care, emergency care as well as out patient surgery. She also has experience in transitional care in the long term care setting.
Licensure and Certifications
Ellen is certified as an adult nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Professional Associations
Ellen is a member of the American College of Nurse Practitioners (ACNP).
Interests
In her free time, Ellen enjoys spending time with her family, reading, walking and doing bead work.
