Education and Training
Jean Dunbar began her nursing career with an Associate of Arts in Nursing from Minneapolis Community College. She then obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Augsburg College and her Master of Arts in Nursing from the College of St. Catherine.

Experience 
Jean has worked as a geriatric nurse practitioner (GNP) in the transitional care setting as well as in research, emergency room, intensive care and general medicine. She has been a member of the Fairview Partners team many  years, and currently provides care to Fairview Partners members at Ebenezer Care Center.

Licensure and Certifications 
Jean is licensed in the state of Minnesota and board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

Professional Associations 
Jean is a member of the Minnesota Nurses Association and the National Conference of Geriatric Nurse Practitioners.

Personal Interests
In her free time, Jean enjoys taking trips with her family as well as biking, cross-country skiing, cooking and reading.
