Education and Training
Cate McKegney has a medical degree from the University of Vermont. She completed her internship and residency in Family Practice at the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview. She also has a Master of Science in Family Practice and Community Health from the University of Minnesota.
Experience
McKegney has been practicing family medicine in the Twin Cities since 1985. For the first nine years she was in private practice and for the next nine she practiced and taught with the Hennepin County Medical Center Family Practice Residency Program. McKegney is an assistant professor in Family Medicine at the University of Minnesota and recently finished her Bush Medical Fellowship. She has been providing care for Fairview Partners patients for many years, and currently provides care for both long term care and short term rehabilitation patients at Fairview Partners member nursing homes in the metro area.
Licensure and Certifications
McKegney is board certified in family medicine.
Professional Associations
McKegney is a member of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine, the Collaborative Family Healthcare Association (and co-chair of the Minnesota chapter), the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Women’s Association.
Interests
In her spare time, McKegney enjoys singing, writing, knitting, camping and traveling with her family.

Education and Training
Pam Niles began her nursing career with an Associate Degree in Nursing in 1979. In 1999 she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bethel University. Niles then graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Minnesota in 2004.
Experience
Niles began working for Fairview Partners in the fall of 2006. Prior to that, she worked as a registered nurse for more than 25 years in the acute care setting. The majority of this time was spent working with geriatric patients and their families. Niles has also worked on a medical surgical unit specializing in orthopedics, respiratory disorders and post-operative recovery. She has taught pre-operative orthopedic classes for prospective surgical candidates and their caregivers.
Licensure and Certifications
Niles is certified as a gerontological nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She is also certified by the State of Minnesota as a Public Health Nurse.
Professional Associations
Niles is a member of the Minnesota Nurses Association.
Interests
Professionally, Niles is interested in alternative and complementary therapies, most specifically, the use of essential oils for therapeutic purposes.
In her free time Niles enjoys spending time with her three daughters, playing piano, needlepoint, walking, biking, the outdoors and working out.
