Education and Training
Ken Kephart received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School. He completed his residency training at St. Paul Ramsey (Region’s Medical Center).
Experience
Kephart has been a practicing family physician for many years. He has combined practice with teaching residents and medical students for several years. In addition to providing on-site care for residents, Kephart is also the medical director for Fairview Partners.
Licensure and Certifications
Kephart is board certified in internal medicine with a specialty in geriatrics.
Professional Associations
Kephart is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Directors Association, American Geriatric Society, American Medical Association, Minnesota Medical Association and the Society of Teachers in Family Medicine.
Interests
Kephart’s personal interests include golfing and fishing.

JAMES STRUVE, M.D.

“My concern is with the whole person, with emphasis on personal preventive medical care from a Christian context, as well as treatment of specific health problems. My philosophy is to emphasize quality, skilled medical care, prevention, health education and getting to know the patient as a person.”

Education and Training
James Struve has a medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School.
Experience
Struve has been practicing at Bloomington Lake Clinic since 1990. He has also been practicing with Fairview Partners for many years and currently provides care for Fairview Partners patients at Mount Olivet Careview Home. Struve is a clinical associate professor at the University of Minnesota Medical School.
Licensure and Certifications
Struve is board certified in family and geriatric medicine.
Professional Associations
Struve is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American Pain Society, the International Association for the Study of Pain and the Minnesota Association of Nursing Home Medical Directors.
Interests
Professionally, Struve has particular interests in: chronic pain, geriatrics, urban health care, outcomes research, wellness research and the roll of spirituality in medicine.
Personally, Struve spends his free time with his family, and enjoys being on the North Shore and being active at his church.

Education and Training
Megan Herzog began her nurisng career with a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of North Dakota in 2001. Herzog then went on to complete a master's degree in nursing from the University of Minnesota in 2007.
Expierence
Herzog has worked in surgical internsive care, as well as transitional care and long term care. Herzog joined the Fairview Partners team in 2007 and providers care to members in the long term care setting.
Licensure and Certifications
Herzog is certified as a gerontological nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Professional Associations
Herzog is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, the National Confrence of Gerontological Nurse Pracitioners, The American Geraitrics Society and the Gerontological Society of America.
Personal Interests
In her free time, Herzog enjoys reading, staying active, gardening and being outdoors.
